Puskesmas Development Must Be on Target

Jakarta DPRD Commission E, has instructed Jakarta Health Dept. to monitor the development of 34 community health centers (puskesmas). Thus the development can be executed in accordance with the target.

After the development is done, the people can feel the improvement of its facilities

Jakarta DPRD Commission E Secretary, Veri Younevil said, the development must be monitored, as its existence is very needed by the people.

"After the development is done, the people can feel the improvement of its facilities. Because the existing facilities will be the same as RSUD," he expressed, Wednesday (9/27).

Younevil explained puskesmas that developed will be equipped with medical specialist. By so, people who need a medical specialist do not need to go to the hospital for treatment.

"So, in the future, the people do not have to go to RSUD and other type A hospitals. Because they have medical specialist and facilities in puskesmas," he asserted.

Jakarta Health Dept. Head, Koesmadi Priharto uttered, besides 34 puskesmas, this year, his party is developing two hospitals and renovating three hospitals.

His party will monitor and ensure the development and renovation to be on the target.

"Hospitals in Cipayung and Kebayoran have been developed. The for other hospitals still being renovation is located in Cilincing, Kramat Jati and Koja," he closed.
